Numerous organizations across the globe work together to drive trust, opportunity, and prosperity and to support the accounting and finance profession’s commitment to the public interest. The AICPA affiliates with the following organizations to further its mission and that of the entire accounting and finance profession.
AICPA affiliate organizations
The AICPA has close ties and plays a partnership role with the following affiliate organizations:
Accounting Research Association: Provides funds for studies and research in regard to principles and standards of the accounting profession.
AICPA Benevolent Fund: Established in 1933, the AICPA Benevolent Fund assists AICPA members through temporary periods of financial difficulty.
AICPA Foundation, Inc: Since 1922, the AICPA Foundation has advanced the science of accountancy and accounting education.
AICPA PAC: Established in 1977, the AICPA PAC raises funds and provide financial assistance to candidates for federal office who actively support the CPA profession.
AICPA Insurance Trust: Since the introduction of the first Group Life Insurance Plan in 1947, the AICPA Insurance Programs have grown to meet the ever-expanding insurance needs of members, their families, and their employees.
Beta Alpha Psi: With over 300,000 members, Beta Alpha Psi is an honor organization for Financial Information students and professionals.
Center for Audit Quality: The Center for Audit Quality is an autonomous public policy organization dedicated to enhancing investor confidence and public trust in the global capital markets.
CPA.com: CPA.com drives the transformation of practice areas, advance the technology ecosystem for the profession, and lead technology research and innovation efforts for practitioners.
Federation of Schools of Accountancy: The Federation of Schools of Accountancy is dedicated to encouraging, promoting, assisting and supporting the development of high-quality accredited programs of education for the accounting profession that lead to a graduate degree; and being a leading advocate of accredited graduate accounting programs.
